S2K Enterprise Improves Visibility, Safety and Traceability for Global Dessert Wholesaler; Plays Integral Role in Helping Company Pass Rigorous Food Safety Audit

Ronkonkoma, NY – September 30, 2013 – VAI, a leading provider of ERP software, today announced that Loves & Quiches, a global dessert wholesaler, is streamlining manufacturing processes and improving overall food safety controls with its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, VAI S2K Enterprise. Headquartered in Freeport, NY, Love & Quiches maintains a customer roster of leading food service operators, retailers and distributors, many of whom share 25+ year relationships with the dessert wholesaler.

With food safety and full traceability as top priorities for Love & Quiches, the company sought an ERP solution to automate and integrate its core business functions. The company needed to optimize its manufacturing processes, ensure food safety and full traceability on all of its products, and produce comprehensive reports for auditors. In its evaluation of ERP solutions, Love & Quiches selected VAI S2K Enterprise.

S2K Enterprise is enabling Love & Quiches to identify manufacturing processes using raw material and intermediary item codes with lot control designation in order to locate all products and to determine which ingredients were used and when. As a result, full traceability is maintained for all Love & Quiches products and proper training is ensured on the production floor at all times. S2K Enterprise integrates seamlessly with the technical modules used by Loves & Quiches, including inventory management, product quality, and material requirement planning. In June 2013, these optimizations helped the company pass a rigorous third-party food safety audit of its lot control systems.
