Fueled by Mobile and Cloud Technology, VAI Forecasts 15-20% Growth in 2013

Projected Growth Drives 15% Workforce and Facility Expansions

RONKONKOMA, NY – November 19, 2013 – VAI, a leading provider of ERP software to the mid-market, announced a 15 to 20% growth projection for 2013, with similar expectations for 2014. To support this expansion, VAI has increased its workforce by 15% year to date. The company plans to continue hiring additional ERP and Java programmers, web designers, plus sales and technical support next year. The new hires will come from the New York metropolitan area, as well as in the company’s Florida, Illinois and California branches. To accommodate the increased work force, VAI has secured an additional floor of office space at its corporate headquarters in New York.

This momentum is fueled by several key factors, including the launch of its new HTML5 web based S2K Enterprise solution, and demand for the company’s mobile, portal and cloud offerings. By leveraging the browser as a platform, S2K applications now offer anytime, anywhere computing on any mobile device. In addition, more and more businesses are choosing to move their critical business operations to the cloud. To support the increased demand for hosting services, VAI has expanded and upgraded its data center. S2K delivery options include either on premise server deployment or cloud based platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) options.

VAI also launched S2K Smart Center, a configurable, role based, single sign-on to all applications. S2K Smart Center offers common navigation and a uniform look and feel across the entire family of VAI products. For business intelligence, S2K Analytics, powered by Cognos, has been enhanced with many new dashboards and key performance indicators for each application. For truck delivery, the new full featured tablet based S2K Mobile route sales application provides both real-time or off line options and is designed for delivery representatives who deliver pre-sold orders or who sell off the truck. To leverage the latest social technologies, VAI has integrated IBM's Smart Cloud into its standard offerings.
