Mobile Applications Provide Increased Communication and Efficiency for Sid Harvey Industries Inc.; VAI Unveils New Dashboard Feature and Enhancements Across Mobile Suite

Ronkonkoma, N.Y. - March 30, 2016 - VAI, a leading ERP software provider, today announced continued momentum for its S2K Mobile Suite with the availability of its Mobile Route Dashboard feature and enhancements to its entire suite of mobile applications. With seamless integration to VAI’s S2K Enterprise solution, the Mobile Order Entry, Proof of Delivery, Route Sales and Point-of-Sale applications enable users to increase company ROI, improve overall customer communication and maximize operational efficiency.

The new Mobile Route Dashboard is a Web application that displays Driver History on Google Maps related to S2K Route Sales and Proof of Delivery applications. With this feature, users can easily manage the location of their drivers in real-time, providing a significant increase in customer service. Additional features have also been added to the Mobile Order Entry, Proof of Delivery and Route Sales applications, all of which are now available on most Android  and newer generation iPhones.

Order Entry is now integrated with Koamtac scanners. Customers can display Accounts Receivable and payment history, access real-time pricing options, override order discounts, display landscape versions on tablets with Bluetooth keyboard support, and print open A/R summary and details. The Proof of Delivery application provides users with the ability to take pictures of anything they need to capture on the field, and drivers have start-and-stop options with GPS tracking, order inquiry and open A/R information. With Route Sales, the user can replenish the truck by requesting a load via a mobile device. This transaction then translates into a location transfer on the ERP system that can be verified at the dock of the main warehouse during pickup.

Mobile Order Entry Anytime, Anywhere

Sid Harvey Industries, Inc. (Sid Harvey’s), a leading wholesale refrigeration, A/C and heating parts and equipment distributor, is leveraging S2K Mobile Order Entry as a branded application available for download from the Google Play store and Apple iTunes. Headquartered in NY with locations across 19 states, Sid Harvey’s initially launched the application to outside salespeople before making the application available for its customers in the app stores. Once downloaded, the Sid Harvey’s mobile app lets customers place orders anywhere, anytime, and the app will continue to function without a wi-fi connection.

Customers can start an order by selecting any ship-to locations or trucks, along with any Sid Harvey’s branch. Users can add items to the order with features such as product search by partial description, manufacturer name and part number, quick order by scanning a barcode to identify the item, shop from history to reorder items previously purchased, and shop by department by picking product groups and sub-groups. Order review and email confirmation complete the order process.
