VAI Presents the Benefits of Technology at the Summer Fancy Food Show

Ronkonkoma, N.Y. – June 24, 2019 – VAI, a leading ERP software developer, announced its participation in the Summer Fancy Food Show, the largest specialty food industry event in North America, and the premier showcase for industry innovation. Presented by the Specialty Food Association (SFA), a not-for-profit association with over 3,800 members, the show is taking place June 23-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY.

The show will feature a wide-range of food artisans, buyers, importers, and entrepreneurs and feature over 2,400 companies exhibiting over 200,000 specialty foods. The Specialty Food industry is the fastest-growing segment of the food industry at nearly $150 billion in annual sales.

During the event, Joe Scioscia, vice president of sales at VAI, will take part in an interview with SFA News Live host Phil Lempert. Scioscia will explore topics that center around ERP software applications and development, such as integrated mobile applications that help bridge the communication gap from supplier to chef operations. Scioscia will also address food safety compliancy, and how Food ERP software plays a role to ensure product safety and faster recall processes.
