Running in an unsupported environment can create lengthy time delays and increased costs. Current operating systems and PTF’s can also help improve performance of your system and VAI software.
VAI IBM i and i5/OS On-Site Upgrade Consists of: - Single Step Operating System upgrade of one Partition
- Remote verification of all software components, IBM PTF’s etc. Analyze, order, and apply prerequisite PTF
- Remote analysis of third party license keys requirements for customer to order new keys
- Provide assistance on how to initiate full system save prior to upgrade, utilizing VAI Save Tool
- On-site Operating System & license program upgrade from VxRx to VxRx (single step upgrade)
- Install IBM release level cumulative, HIPER and Database PTF's
- Configure IBM Service agent
- Initiate “Save Entire System”
