QDI’s MIS Manager, Bernie Birk, turned to Vormittag Associates, Inc. (VAI) to transform its beta site into an e-business site and to add a new, updated look. Ed Messier, Web Developer at VAI, stepped in to make changes to QDI’s orders page. He took the company’s design, applied it to the e-business section, and made it seamless to the rest of the site. In just a few hours, QDI’s orders site was up and running. "I applied the new header Mr. Birk sent me, than made the customer log- in page look like the beta site that he was working on," said Ed. "I also applied the javascript files to the web server and applied his model to the login page. This created a seamless look between the static site and the customer login page. "
Mr. Birk loved working with Ed and is extremely pleased with the results. "The new look is fantastic. At the press of a button, our premier dealers can do everything from online order placement, order tracking, view balances and even return orders when necessary. And Ed Messier did a great job on getting our new look up and live for us. It’s seamless, looks fantastic, and sales have soared!"
VAI’s S2K Commerce Express overall has dramatically increased QDI’s sales. "We’ve been live for one year and our monthly sales have climbed from one thousand to two million," continued Mr. Birk.
