| Learn, Share…Grow Your Business, With 26 Conference Workshops Much of VAI’s annual User Conference centers on workshops and forum discussions. VAI planned many sessions to educate their customers about S2K and provided a partner selection of solutions that they integrate with. Return on investment (ROI) was the key message and conference attendees departed with valuable knowledge.
Three highly interesting open forums for the retail, manufacturing and distribution industries allowed an open exchange of ideas and suggestions to guide VAI’s future product development initiatives. These forums not only provided a vehicle for VAI to acquire customer input, which is the primary method the company uses to develop it’s software, but it also allowed peers to openly discuss critical issues affecting particular industries. Attendees shared their knowledge and exchanged business experiences.
In addition, 26 workshops addressed a multitude of topics from financial management and sales forecasting to e-business solutions and warehouse management. Certainly, the WMS “Hands-on” was the most impressive and engaging workshop.
Joe Scioscia, VP of Sales, VAI said, “The workshops and forums are a focal point for conference attendees, and we are already planning must-attend sessions for next year. One major addition for future conferences will include a best practice session to outline common procedures for retail, manufacturing and distribution that generate the most return on investment (ROI). VAI understands that providing our customers with the information needed to maximize profits not only grows their businesses, but grows ours as well.”
The conference offers the right opportunity for VAI customers to come together, but it also provides a venue for potential customers to meet and network with existing users to learn about VAI’s software solutions. Additionally, new customers found the event instrumental in guiding the implementation process through enhanced understanding of S2K and pertinent upgrades. As a result, implementations proceed more smoothly as attendees return to their business with the knowledge they have gained. |
