Bob Vormittag, Jr. joined VAI in 1995. As a Project Director, he holds joint responsibility for project planning and new account implementations, ensuring timely and efficient software solutions that are responsive to customer requirements. Vormittag’s style is hands-on, consistent with his belief that firsthand knowledge is a prerequisite to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Vormittag puts a different twist on the VAI corporate motto—“We make it our business … To understand your business”— applying this ideal to his professional career at VAI. Since 1995, Vormittag has endeavored to learn VAI from the bottom up. His goal is twofold: add to his understanding of the totality of VAI operations and inform VAI senior management of areas where improvement is both possible and desirable. Vormittag believes this approach will not only benefit him personally, but also help solidify VAI’s position as a leader in enterprise management solutions.
Vormittag holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from Dowling College.
